ASGC celebrated the successful completion of Workforce Health and Wellbeing Awareness Campaign held during July 2021. Mariam Azmy, Chief HR Officer, ASGC, Yossry Kostantien, Facilities Director, ASGC and Emma Seymour, Vice President - Worker Welfare, Expo 2020 Dubai took part in the official closing ceremony of the campaign.
Over 85% of ASGC group workforce was involved in the campaign. They were advised on steps to effectively manage emotional and physical health. This was achieved through strategic partnerships with leading clinics in the region providing ASGC workforce with regular webinars and health checkups on stress management, diabetes mellitus and many others.
Additionally, ASGC trained around 300 supervisors within the organization, group companies and subcontractors, to create an environment for workforce to feel supported. A hotline has been established to allow the workforce to contact medical teams 24*7, through calls, texts, emails or WhatsApp.
ASGC would also like to express the gratitude to the Expo 2020 Dubai Worker Welfare team for their participation in this campaign and for attending the closing ceremony.
