ASGC is delighted to announce the new project award for Masdar City Square, the latest development by Masdar City, the pioneering sustainable community and technology and innovation hub in Abu Dhabi.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by key representatives from ASGC, Masdar, Masdar City and Mubadala, including Abdul Aziz Bin Shafar, CEO of ASGC, Sameh Fam, ASGC Managing Director, Ahmed Baghoum, Acting Executive Director of Masdar City, Mohamed Al Breiki, Director of Sustainable real estate, Masdar City, and Tamer Abd El Bary, Seniour Vice President, CMS Mubadala.
The development will consist of seven single- and multi-tenant office buildings and parking, all reflecting innovative design. Six of the buildings will be constructed to the highest green construction specifications while the MC2 Headquarters building will be Abu Dhabi’s first net-zero energy office building, using no more energy than it produces by integrating energy efficiency-focused design and systems and renewable energy technologies.
